Description:

The Quality Phree is made up of three large geometric shapes are arranged in a line outside of the offices of the Department of Social and Family Affairs in Tallaght. They are made from patinated corten steel and a weathered rusty surface that is characteristic of this material. All three sculptures reference tetrahedron, or triangular shapes. Two of the sculptures are solid shapes, lying lengthways seeming to emerge from the ground. The middle sculpture is made from two beams of steel, jointed to form a point at the top, which creates an archway through which people may pass.
